Archives Reading Room Closure

The Special Collections and Archives Reading Room will be closed July 23 through September for facility upgrades, which include replacing the department's compact shelving. This exciting opportunity is funded by a Ohio Community Investment Grant. 

During this time, the Special Collections & Archives staff will continue their regular hours and work functions while coordinating with vendors and moving collections. 

During this time, some of our services will be temporarily unavailable:

Available

• Phone and reference services, with limited access to the collections (depending on the request, researchers may need to resubmit their inquiry in October)
• Aviation Trail stamps available at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library
• Display cases on the first and fourth floors; Replica 1903 Flyer on the second floor

Temporarily Unavailable

• Research appointments and onsite research
