We are pleased to welcome Rebecca Tyler as the University Libraries’ new Systems Librarian. She joins the Library Technology Services department where she will administer the new library services platform, among other library systems.
Rebecca earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Louisiana State University and has cultivated a rich career in systems librarianship having previously worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the National Library of Medicine, and Arizona State University.
She has a wealth of library experience in managing system migrations and implementations, administering library services platforms, overseeing discovery systems, managing websites, and integrating library services into other university systems. In her most recent position as the Systems Librarian at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Rebecca managed their Alma/Primo library system, the same system recently implemented by Wright State and all OhioLINK libraries.
Rebecca’s experience, enthusiasm, and analytical skills will make her a valued member of the University Libraries’ team. Welcome, Rebecca!
