The oral histories in this collection capture the events of the founding of Wright State University's School of Medicine. The project began in September 1983, in an effort to preserve the history of the School of Medicine through its founders' personal experiences and opinions. The interviews were conducted by James St. Peter, graduate assistant from the History Department at Wright State University, over a two year period of time. The descriptions used in CORE for each of these interviews were written by St. Peter. These interviews are available in CORE, the campus online repository.
