  1. I'd like to make a multimedia presentation for a class. Does the library have a place where I can do this?

    The Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC), located on the 2nd floor of Dunbar Library, provides Wright State students with many options for multimedia projects. Visit their web page for more information.

    Once you finish your presentation, you can practice it in one of our group study rooms. You can reserve a room online, visit the information desk on the 2nd floor or call 937-775-2925. Group study rooms can be used by current WSU students, faculty, and staff.

  2. What software is on the computers in Dunbar Library?

    See our complete list of software available on library computers. Please note that not all software is available to visitors due to licensing. For more information about the software in the Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC), please see their web page.

  3. Does the library have a fax machine?

    Faxing is available at Dunbar Library 8:00am-5:00pm weekdays. Local fax numbers are $1 per page and long-distance numbers cost an extra dollar for the first page. International fax numbers are not accepted. You must wait until your fax is finished, or agree to pay the full amount in advance. An alternate faxing service is available at the Wright Copy Center, 181 Student Union, 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-5:00pm Friday.

  4. Does the library have a scanner I can use?

    Yes, scanners are available on the 2nd floor in the reference area, media area, or in the Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC). Please note that STAC is limited to Wright State students only.

  5. Can I borrow headphones?

    Yes, headphones are available at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor. We will check them out on your library account while you borrow them, or hold on to your ID if you are a visitor.

  6. Can I buy a flash drive at the library?

    Yes, we have several storage devices for sale at the Circulation Desk, including 4GB flash drives, CDs, DVDs, and mini DVCs. Other items for sale: earbuds, reusable bags, brass bookmarks, and water bottles.
