Established in April 2010 in memory of Mrs. Loretta M. Schaechterle to purchase books and multimedia materials about Women in the United States. Mrs. Schaechterle was a life-long learner with a love for reading, and books purchased through this fund will help to provide an understanding of women's lives in the United States, with a focus on the 20th century.
