Friends of the Libraries Annual Luncheon
Berry Room, Nutter Center; 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
You're invited to the 39th annual Friends of the Libraries luncheon, Training the Caring Mind: Health Care Disaster Preparedness in the Virtual World, where we'll explore advances in modern technology as applied to the field of nursing, plus learn about library resources, and changes coming to Special Collections and Archives.
Our lunch buffet will include Caesar salad, Italian chicken, vegetarian eggplant tower, wild rice pilaf, glazed baby carrots, cherry cobbler, assorted cheesecake, assorted breads, and iced tea, regular & decaf coffee.
Sharon Farra and Sherrill Smith, faculty members for the Wright State College of Nursing and Health, will present their research using virtual reality simulations in disaster training, followed by an interactive demonstration of the virtual reality equipment.
Registration is required for this event. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Libraries. Thank you for your support.
